Plain English summary: Use CapFlow Studio to make great captioned videos. Don't use it for anything illegal, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights. Your content is yours. We can change or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
By accessing or using CapFlow Studio at capflow.studio ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
CapFlow Studio is a browser-based AI caption studio. Video and audio processing occurs entirely within your browser — files are not uploaded to any CapFlow Studio server. CapFlow Studio is provided "as is" and features may change at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use CapFlow Studio. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 13. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. CapFlow Studio is not directed at or intended for use by children under 13.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to CapFlow Studio and, where required by law, reporting to relevant authorities.
CapFlow Studio offers Free, Pro, and Team subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current subscription price.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings panel inside the CapFlow Studio editor. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@capflow.studio within 14 days of the charge.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days notice before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Free plan: The Free plan is provided without charge and may be modified or discontinued at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes to Free plan features.
CapFlow Studio and all associated software, design, and content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of CapFlow Studio without our prior written consent.
You retain full ownership of any videos you process using CapFlow Studio. By using the service you confirm you have the right to process the content you upload. We claim no ownership over your content.
CapFlow Studio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI transcription accuracy is not guaranteed — you are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated captions before use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CapFlow Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to CAPFLOW in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CapFlow Studio and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. If you have a paid subscription, we will issue a pro-rata refund for any unused period at our discretion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will endeavour to notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of CapFlow Studio after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are an EEA or UK resident, you may have additional rights under consumer protection law that these Terms cannot override.
